Building bridges of opportunity for people with disabilities through social integration and economic empowerment.
We believe in creating sustainable change through compassionate action and community collaboration focused on people with disabilities.
To empower people with disabilities through comprehensive support systems that foster social integration and economic independence.
A world where people with disabilities have equal access to opportunities, are fully integrated into society, and achieve financial independence.
Compassion, integrity, inclusivity, and innovation guide our work as we build bridges to connect people with disabilities to opportunities.
We are committed to breaking down barriers and fostering inclusive communities where individuals with disabilities can fully participate and contribute. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we work to create a society that values diversity and embraces the unique contributions of all its members.
We believe in the potential of every individual to achieve financial independence. Through vocational training, employment support, and entrepreneurship opportunities, we empower individuals with disabilities to secure meaningful livelihoods, develop valuable skills, and become self-reliant contributors to the economy.
Our journey of building bridges for people with disabilities has been marked by growth, learning, and meaningful impact.
Started our first dedicated program working with deaf individuals to provide support and opportunities.
Successfully established partnerships with 10 organizations to expand our reach and impact.
Reached the milestone of 2000 volunteers and increased our artisan strength to 330 talented individuals. Section 8 registration also came through.
Broadened our work to include programs specifically designed for intellectually disabled individuals.
Launched first-of-its-kind sensitivity training programs across 100+ organizations.
Our customers are individuals with disabilities (PwDs), particularly in developing nations like India where over 90% face unemployment according to UN data. These individuals encounter significant barriers to economic participation and social inclusion, often lacking access to fair employment opportunities, market connections, and community integration.
Our non-profit serves as a bridge ("Setu") connecting PwDs to economic opportunities and social acceptance through several targeted programs:
Connects skilled artisans with disabilities to corporate clients, festivals, and weddings, ensuring they receive fair compensation for high-quality products through our negotiation and market access services.
Bridges the gap between PwDs and mainstream society through interactive programs that foster understanding, inclusion, and community building.
Enables PwDs to shadow and learn from established entrepreneurs, developing business acumen and independence.
Access to specialized learning resources and adaptive teaching methods for people with disabilities.
Amplifying voices of PwDs in policy discussions and decision-making processes.
